Assisted Living Services
All Assisted Living services at Legacy House are planned with the understanding that residents’ individual needs can change over time. In planning and providing assisted living services, we always consider the unique interests, attributes, abilities and overall health status of each resident.
Resident Service Plans are created and reviewed on a regular basis with the involvement of the resident, family members and key staff members to ensure the appropriateness of the direction, scope and degree of the services being provided.
Residents are always encouraged to perform as many of their activities of daily living as they are able to.
Personal elderly care services at Legacy House are supervised by a licensed nurse and may include adult day care, respite care, medication monitoring, grooming and bathing assistance, ‘round-the-clock well-being monitoring, personal laundry and stand-by or hands-on assistance with one or more of the activities of daily living.
All services are provided in an environment that respects individuality, privacy and choice. Activities involve education, entertainment and opportunities to meet new friends via social interaction. Residents are routinely informed of dates, times, topics and locations of all activities and are encouraged to participate in activities of interest to them.
